Donvittorio's Escape

First topic message reminder :

This is a short adventure that is about to unfold revolves around Donvittorio. It involves him being stuck in an inescapable place. His bathroom. THE QUEST IT SIMPLE, HERO! You must escape your confines and successfully make it back to your room. GOOD LUCK.

You awaken from having received a blow to your head. The first thoughts that come to mind involve a sort of Y shaped device that allows time travel, but you can't dwell on this. Frantically, you lunge for the door, only to find it locked.

Within the bathroom resides a shower with the curtains drawn. A sink with a medicine cabinet hanging above. A toilet with a window placed above. A door to the hallway [LOCKED]. Another door on the wall across from the sink. There is a trash bin next to the toilet.

The door is smarter. You'd lose against it for sure.

Search shower

Drawing back the curtains reveals the corpse of some guy named Adam, lying in the tub. It is filled near to the brim with water. Something tells you he should be in another tub, as you tend to just find vegetables in yours. On his chest is a small key. You try to reach for it, but as your hand gets close, he has a post-death spasm. The resulting spasm causes the stopper that was tied around his ankle to dislodge and the tub begins to drain. The key falls off his chest and rushes toward the drain.

An AGILITY check of 6 is required to grab the key in time.

Distracted by a falcon that swoops in through the open window, the key washes by. But the falcon flies back out, snapping you out of your daze in time for you to catch the key before it slides into the drain.

Open the door with the key and close it afterwards!

With the door finally unlocked, you escape into the outside hallway. The hallway has a multitude of doors along the east and west walls, along with a balcony section that overlooks the entrance to the house. At the end of the hall resides the door to your room.

Find the living room and punch Lark

You begin walking towards the stairwell so you can punch Lark for reasons unknown. Seriously, why? It isn't his fault the bathroom door was locked. It was probably that stupid monster thingy that is blocking your path... oh dear.

A horrifying beast stands before you. By the look of its hungry eyes, there can only be one thing its thinking. Unfortunately for you, you don't have any pretzels to quell its hunger with, so you're going to have to fight it.

You successfully defend yourself with a rating of 7(+2).

With swift swipes, you cut up the monster, dealing 2(+3)(+1) damage.

The monster looks hurt, but still has strength.

With a superb defense rating of 8(+2), you easily deny the beast of causing any harm.

Following up, you parry with the business end of your razor, hitting for 4(+3)(+1)

You throw the razor up into the air, jump off a wall, catch the razor and drag it back down to earth with you, carving the monster with 1(+3)(+1) damage.

I go to my room and sleep
a lot.

Weary from the events of the day, you stumble towards your room. The entire room is flooding with the light of your computer screen. The light illuminates a note placed on the keyboard. Delaying your sleep, you take the note and open it up.

"Dear Don,
Make sure the next time you go to the bathroom, you prop the door open slightly. The door works fine from the outside, but the inside won't unlock once you close it. Also, if you do close the door on accident, don't forget about the call button in the closet behind the towels. Someone should come up right away. Signed,

P.S. Some weird old guy wearing red robes and a pig head dropped a body off in the tub... so, try your best to ignore it."
