Old server files

So I have the harddrive that housed all of the things we made.

Any bids?

Just kidding. The harddrive fails to cooperate when I have it in my PC. Our only hope is to find a way to connect the harddrive to my laptop via USB, and to extract the files that way.

So do I get an auto-admin for being...me?

I'm sure Don has some ideas as to the computer problems, but I'm just glad to hear from you again. I think you should definitely get admin (or at least hero). Good to have you back with us.

I don't think I broke it per say...my computer just doesn't read it when its plugged into the desktop. It is 3.5 inches, yes, but I'll find a way to get a hold of the enclosure case. I'm pretty sure my friend has one that I can borrow.

Well normally if you plug a hard drive in a desktop you need to go into the boot screen and stuff, but I wouldn't want to risk it, if you do it wrong you could lose all your files

Btw, if you do get the enclosure and it asks to reformat, DON'T.

Sounds like its all good then. Thanks for being so helpful Jay. I know alot of us would like to see those worlds back in use, and I'm sure you would too. Hopefully we can get this whole usb hard drive thingy dingy to work out.
